Kniphofia 'Tiki Torch' is a 2026 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of one of the most exciting red hot pokers we've ever grown. This introduction is a Kniphofia rooperi seedling that had a romantic rendezvous with an unknown re-blooming red hot poker growing nearby. The results are a red hot poker with the same form and flower shape of Kniphofia rooperi, but flower stalks that start for us in early July instead of early October. The dense upright green foliage creates a 3' tall x 5' wide architectural clump, becoming a foil for the 3.5' tall stalks of 5" plump, orange and yellow flowers...what a great way to add color to the summer garden.
