Shop Available HostaItem #: 175
Zones: 3a to 9b
Dormancy: Winter
Height: 12" tall
Origin: Korea
We selected this seedling as the best of our original lot from Korea in the mid 1980's, and it was named by Barry Yinger in 1993, and introduced by Plant Delights in 1995. The leaves are long, pointed, and extremely glossy...making a 2' wide clump. As is typical in this species, the tiny star shape flowers of purple in late summer are very unique...actually incredibly attractive!
