This is going to be a hard one for you to imagine...trust me. This Kevin Vaughn hybrid (H. 'Polly Bishop' x H. pycnophylla) makes a 4' wide clump of large, cupped and corrugated, very thick, dark green leaves, each slightly twisted and contorted. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with light lavender flowers.
