We've been working for a couple of decades to create tiny but vigorous hostas, and are thrilled to introduce our smallest blue so far. Hosta 'Tiny Gems' is a 2017 Plant Delights Nursery introduction that forms a 5" tall x 18" wide clump of pointed, heart-shaped blue green leaves. This 2006 seedling was concocted from a series of crosses that include the parents Hosta venusta, sieboldii, sieboldiana, longipes, and Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'. We hope you'll find a special place for Hosta 'Tiny Gems', either in a trough garden or a special spot in the woodland. We also hope you enjoy your 'Tiny Gems' as much as we did creating it.
