Hosta 'Sun Flower' is a 2023 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction from our dwarf hosta breeding program that included Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'. This unique 2007 seedling makes an 8" tall x 22" wide clump cardboard-thick 3.5" x 4.5" chartreuse, deeply-veined leaves. You might excuse this as ordinary until you feel the leaves and then see the amazing stalks of light lavender flowers that rest just above the foliage on thick stalks in mid June (NC)...really, quite extraordinary!
