This selection of H. rectifolia was from a Darrell Probst collection near Kuroishi in the Amori Prefecture of Japan at 1600' elevation. The 2' wide clump is composed of long green leaves 1' x 6" wide. Atop the clump is a 5' tall scape of dark lavender flowers.
