Zones: 3a to 8b

Height: 16" tall
Origin: Japan
Hosta rectifolia 'Aomori Gold Star' is a wild variegated hosta discovery, found on Japan's Honshu Island by Kimo Muroya. In our trials, it has proven to be an outstanding, vigorous garden performer. The 16" tall x 34" wide patch with bright yellow foliage, edged green, has proven slowly stoloniferous for us. The clumps are topped with 3' tall stalks of dark purple flowers in August.
