Hosta 'Prince of Wales' is a hard to find hybrid of Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' and Hosta montana, introduced by the late UK Hosta guru, Diana Grenfell. This giant 2' tall x 6' wide stately clump is composed of glaucous blue leaves. In early June, as the leaf wax starts to melt, the clumps are adorned with long, arching spikes with terminal clusters of white flowers. We've been surprised how well "The Prince" thrives in our hot, humid summers...performs best when planted near a Camilla...we mean Camellia. Latter not included.
