This amazing new hosta from Minnesota's Hans Hansen is one of the bluest hostas we grow. This seedling involves a menage-a-trois between Hosta rupifraga, H. 'Maruba Iwa', and H. 'Blue Jay'. The 14" tall x 3' wide clump is composed of nearly-round, 6-7", powder blue leaves that hold their color extremely long, even in hot climates. The clump is topped with 2' tall scapes of lavender flowers in mid-summer.
