I well remember the buzz of excitement when Hosta 'Olive Bailey Langdon' was introduced in the 1990's and now, more than a decade later, the buzz is just as strong. Hosta 'Olive Bailey Langdon' is a non-burning counterpart to old standard, Hosta 'Frances Williams'. Hosta 'Olive Bailey Langdon', named after a former president of the American Hosta Society, is a Hosta sieboldiana mutation with giant, corrugated blue leaves, surrounded by a wide golden margin throughout the season. In late spring, the dazzling clumps are topped with pure white bells held just above the foliage...simply incredible.
