This distinctive new 1998 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction boasts medium green leaves with a near-black jagged border pattern. Visitors who have seen this are truly amazed, as this is a revolutionary hosta breakthrough. In late summer (August in NC), the 2' wide clumps are topped with a splendid display of dark lavender buds, opening to dark lavender flowers. If you are looking for something completely different, you will enjoy this exciting new sport from the classic, H. 'Sparkling Burgundy'.
