Item #: 4664
Zones: 3a to 8b
Dormancy: Winter
Height: 15" tall
Origin: Hybrid
This hybrid by legendary hosta breeder Herb Benedict is the result of a cross of Hosta 'Dorothy Benedict' x H. montana 'Cherifu'. While this may be meaningless to all but the hosta geeks, this tells us that it's got great genes. The result is a 3' wide clump of heavy substanced blue-green leaves surrounded by a very wide creamy white border. In early summer, the stunning clumps are topped with 2' spikes of lavender flowers.
