This new Shady Oaks introduction is a sport of the classic H. 'Aspen Gold'. With its H. 'Tokudama' parentage, you can expect a very slow growing plant with thick, heavily quilted and puckered blue-green leaves, surrounded by a wide golden border... essentially a non-burning miniature H. 'Frances Williams'. In late spring, the 2' wide clumps are topped with 20" scapes of pale lavender flowers.
