Origin: Hybrid
This splendid hybrid from one of America's top breeders, Olga Petryszyn, is still hard to find...we hope we can help remedy that situation. The 3' wide clumps are composed of large, heavily corrugated, grey-green leaves. In addition to the corrugation, each leaf has a long point as well as heavy rippling on the margins...a new twist to such hostas. In early summer, the sturdy clumps are topped with dramatic and very attractive purple flower buds which open later to reveal lavender flowers atop 3' scapes.
