This is still one of the best small chartreuse hostas for a shaded border. This fast-multiplying clump forms an 8" wide mound composed of pointed, wavy chartreuse-gold leaves. In late spring and into early summer, the clumps are topped with 15" tall scapes of light lavender flowers. The old leaves fade to light green, contrasting nicely with the bright gold of the new foliage... hence the name.
