H. 'Lakeside Kaleidoscope' is one of the most distinctive of the Lakeside introductions. The 2' wide clump features very wavy, pointed leaves with a central pattern of dark-green, surrounded by a narrow border of grey-green, which is in turn surrounded by a wide, creamy margin. The margin is much wider at the tip of the leaf, and changes to a narrow border around the lower half of the leaf. In mid-July, the clumps are topped with 24" tall scapes of light lavender flowers.
