I still remember being in Clarence Owens' MI garden in 1999 and watching people nearly trample each other to get a closeup view of this striking hosta. The slow growth rate has kept Hosta 'Indian Feather' quite rare, but we are thrilled to finally offer a few to our customers. Hosta 'Indian Feather' is very slow growing but will eventually make a 20" tall x 3' wide clump. The glossy leaves are mostly white for the first few years with a dark green border, but the border eventually widens, leaving a much narrower creamy white center. The stunning clump is topped with 2' tall spikes of light lavender flowers in early summer.
