    From the travels of Hosta guru Paul Aden comes this hybrid or selection of one of the rock hostas, H. pycnophylla. Each 3' wide clump is made up of fabulous grey green foliage with a dramatic rippled edge (the best in the hosta world). The backs of the leaves are also stunning with a powdery white indumentum. In late summer, the tall arching scapes of lavender flowers top the clump. We even enjoy the seed show, which are held to the stalk by a unique long pedicle...very cool!
