Hosta 'Grand Marquee' came to be as a sport from Hosta 'Mrs. Carder' of the H. 'Tokudama' group. The corrugated and cupped blue leaves are highlighted with a dramatic golden center. The center turns creamy white as the season progresses and the 2' wide clumps are topped with 2' tall flower spikes of near white flowers in May.
