This distinctive upright hosta from Dr. Benedict is another of the marvelous hybrids created with H. 'Gold Regal'. Imagine taking a clump of H. 'Gold Regal' and making the leaves thick, round, and corrugated and you have an idea of what H. 'Golden Torch' looks like. The 4' wide, dusty golden clump is topped in very late summer with 30" scapes of light lavender flowers.
