(aka: Hosta 95-163) Hosta 'Get Nekkid' is a 2008 Plant Delights introduction, from a 1995 cross involving Hosta 'Elvis Lives' and Hosta yingeri 'Treasure Island'. The result is a glossy green, wavy leaf hosta with an amazing floral display. The very shiny leaves form a medium-sized 12" tall x 27" wide clump, topped in June and July with sturdy 30" spikes of spider-like, medium lavender flowers. The flowers are actually attractive and because of their sheer number, continue to open for nearly 6 weeks. Even visitors who didn't like hostas (yes, there are a few) were entranced by the floral display of Hosta 'Get Nekkid'.
