This Lachman hybrid (H. 'Beatrice' x 'Frances Williams') is prized by breeders (hosta breeders that is) for it's large downward cupped streaky green and cream leaves. The streaking pattern is unstable, but will produce large numbers of variegated seedlings. The clumps are topped with medium lavender flowers in early summer.
