Our 1992 introduction features long, narrow green leaves that are heavily textured with prominent, deeply impressed veins. H. 'Fourth of July' forms a neat medium-sized mound to 2' wide, topped in late summer with 4' tall bloom spikes of dark lavender flowers...very distinctive!
