This exciting slow growing, medium-sized hosta from Hans Hansen/Shady Oaks is the reverse of the popular Hosta 'Patriot'. The thick, pure white leaves are surrounded by a contrasting black-green border. Each 15" tall x 2' wide clump is topped with sturdy stalks of light lavender flowers in midsummer. Hosta 'Fire and Ice' must have good morning sun or steady filtered shade to maintain its vigor.
