This oldie but goodie has long been one of the top choices for a border hosta in woodland gardens. Not only does it stay nice and small (10" wide), but it multiplies faster than the voles. Each neat clump is adorned by small pointed wavy leaves of bright gold. In July, the clumps are topped with 15" spikes of light lavender flowers.
