Picture one of the most popular hostas, Hosta montana 'Aureomarginata' and shrink the plant by 1/3 while adding heavy rippling to the leaves, and you have Hosta 'Ebb Tide'. This stunning release from the late Ed Elslager makes a 3' wide, early-emerging clump of pointed green leaves, each surrounded by a rippled golden border. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 3' scapes of pure white flowers. This truly unique hosta is certain to make a dazzling specimen in your garden.
