This new Gil Jones introduction is a sport of the dramatic H. 'High Noon'. Instead of having all-gold leaves, however, H. 'Climax' has heavily-corrugated green leaves, each with a 1" wide golden border. Each large 4'+ clump has the same vase-shaped habit of H. 'High Noon'. In late spring, this specimen hosta is topped with 32" scapes of light lavender flowers...a superb specimen plant!
