We like hostas that shout at you from across the garden, and Hosta 'Christmas Pageant' is a real screamer. This incredible sport of H. 'Christmas Tree' makes a 2' wide clump of round, corrugated, dark green leaves. Each leaf is surrounded by a border that will be more than 1" wide at maturity. The leaf edge emerges a creamy yellow in spring and turns nearly pure white by summer. In late spring, the clumps are topped with spikes of light lavender flowers.
