This is the hosta that stole everyone's attention at the 1997 Indianapolis Hosta Convention. The mature clump of H. 'Brave Amherst' was grown to perfection as a 4' wide x 2' tall clump. The heavily corrugated blue leaves are bordered by a wide, creamy-gold margin. Here is a clump that resembles, but greatly improves upon, the old favorite, H. 'Frances Williams'. The clumps are topped with 28" tall scapes of near white-flowers in late May in NC. This will soon become the new industry standard!
