This is really a cute little thing...that's the hosta, not Bob! The first time I saw this Herb Benedict introduction, I knew I had to have it. This distinctive-looking small hosta makes a 1' wide, semi-upright mound of narrow rippled foliage. Each thick leaf is dark green with a dramatic, wide, creamy-golden border. In late summer, the fast-growing clumps are topped with 16" tall scapes with medium-purple flowers. FYI: Bob Olson of Minnesota is the past president of the American Hosta Society.
