Hosta 'Blue Ivory' is a fantastic sport of the popular Hosta 'Halcyon', discovered by hosta afficionado Bill Meyer and introduced with the help of Holland's Luc Klinkhamer. The 16" tall x 30" wide clump is composed of blue leaves, highlighted by a wide creamy border that becomes more white as the season progresses...a slow-growing but truly spectacular clump that, like Hosta 'Liberty', takes time to show its true beauty. If you buy small, immature plants of Hosta 'Blue Ivory', you'll be very disappointed for a couple of years.
