We've spent years trying to create small, cupped/corrugated blue-leaf hostas with excellent vigor and heat tolerance, and we are pleased to finally release Hosta 'Blue Biscuit'. This 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction is a 2005 seedling, resulting from crosses involving Hosta 'Big Daddy', Hosta 'Silver Bay', and Hosta venusta. Hosta 'Blue Biscuit' forms a 6" tall x 15" wide tight clump that holds its blue color well into the summer, but even after the blue wax melts, the plant remains looking nice.
