We are pleased to share our 2007 seedling selection from a cross of Hosta 'Faith' with another hosta whose parentage includes H. sieboldiana, H. kikutii, H. pulchella, H. longipes, H. nakaiana, and H. venusta. Our effort to produce a dwarf, fast-growing, Hosta sieboldiana-like plant, resulted in this 2019 introduction, a delightfully unique 7" tall x 20" wide hosta with thick, round, nicely pebbled leaves that emerge in spring with chartreuse-green, glossy foliage. As the growing season progresses, the foliage brightens to a luminescent white gold. Another unique trait we love is that every fold of the leaf turns a different shade of green/gold...quite unique.
