Hosta 'Banana Puddin' is a cute little 2007 Plant Delights introduction, from a 1991 cross we made between Hosta 'Peter Pan' and Hosta 'Sun Power'. Instead of getting what we expected, the choice plant from this encounter was a dwarf plant to 4" tall x 1' wide in 14 years. The small, round, butter-yellow leaves form a beautiful clump, whose color holds all growing season. In late summer, the fast-multiplying clump is topped with short 6" spikes of light lavender flowers. We think you will really enjoy a Hosta 'Banana Puddin' in your garden.
