(A.B. Stout 56) Hemerocallis 'Chancellor' is a superb Arlow Stout introduction from 1956, just a year prior to the famed daylily breeders' death. This amazing late-flowering (late July/August),semi-evergreen daylily produces 55" tall stalks of lovely orange-red flowers, highlighted by a yellow center. We've grown this for more than two decades and cannot understand why it's not in every perennial garden in the country by now.
