Helleborus 'Glenda's Gloss' is another recent selection of the sterile hybrid lenten roses, deriving from a cross of Helleborus niger, lividus, and Helleborus x hybridus. The 15" tall x 2' wide evergreen clumps are clothed with glorious dark green foliage, marbled with prominent silver veining. Starting for us in mid-February, the clumps are topped with an abundance of spikes of white, out-facing flowers, blushed pink on the backs, creating a lovely bicolor effect in the garden.
