Helleborus x iburgensis 'Dana's Dulcet' has the darkest flowers of the Winter Angels Christmas Rose hybrids ((Helleborus x ballardiae) x (Helleborus x hybridus)) from RD Plants. The lovely dark green, heavily-veined, evergreen foliage is topped, starting in mid-February (NC) with a multitude of 15" tall stalks, with outfacing violet-purple flowers...completely sterile. Quite stunning in the winter garden!
