This sterile hybrid geranium was found at Kew Gardens in England, and displays some of the best characteristics of each of the parents (G. endressii x G. traversii). Greyish foliage, pale pink flowers and a rosy purple tracery throughout the petals make this one of the most elegant of the hardy geranium clan. Sterility usually means that flowers are produced over a longer period of time, and Mavis can usually be counted on for a smattering of flowers throughout the season.
