    The willow gentian is truly one of the easiest gentians to grow. In spring, the stalks gradually extend to 2', clothed in elongated triangular leaves. In summer, each leaf axil is stuffed with the bell shaped blue purple flowers. Willow gentian prefers a moist to damp slightly acidic soil.
