Cyrtomium 'China Ruffles' is a 2022 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a selection of Cyrtomium fortunei, from a 2003 Hans Hansen expedition to China, where it was discovered at 4,700' elevation in Tao Yuan, China. This unique form of Cyrtomium fortunei makes an 18" tall x 3.5' wide evergreen clump with fronds composed of narrow pinnae that are unusually ruffled and highlighted by a very dark central stipe and a dark central leaf vein...very attractive and deer-resistant!
