Cypripedium 'Frosch's Mother Earth' is a new, clonal selection from the seed strain, Cypripedium 'Inge'. Cypripedium 'Inge' is a hybrid of the North American native Cypripedium parviflorum var. parviflorum and the Asian Cypripedium fasciolatum, with the large flower size of the latter. Atop the 16" stalk of this mid-season bloomer, is a long-lasting creamy pouch about the size of a small egg, highlighted by amber-purple handlebar moustache-like sepals. Our offering of flowering-sized plants are clonally reproduced from an outstanding seed selection.
