Calanthe 'Kojima Orange' is the orange flowered strain of hybrids derived from crosses of Calanthe discolor, sieboldii, aristulifera, and tricarinata. The 10" flower stalks emerge for us in mid-April, adorned with outfacing orange flowers with a yellow to butterscotch lip. The pleated green basal foliage is evergreen in most winters. Average to slightly moist woodland soils are best.
