From Todd and Lisa Kowitz of Garden Gate Growers in Kettle Falls, Washington, comes this new addition to the line of wonderful feather reed grass cultivars. C. 'Eldorado' was first discovered at Garden Gate in 2000 and was recognized as special because of the gold central variegation which was unique to the leaves of C. 'Karl Foerster'. The upright deer resistant clumps are composed of narrow green leaves, centrally striped gold, topped in late summer with very narrow, vertical plumes to 4' tall...architecturally stunning!
