Buddleia 'Lilac Chip' is from the breeding work of NCSU's Dr. Dennis Werner. Buddleia 'Lilac Chip', which is a complex hybrid containing Buddleia davidii, Buddleia lindleyana, Buddleia globosa, and Buddleia fallowiana, tops out at only 18" tall x 30" wide in two years. The compact clumps are adorned with panicles of fragrant lilac flowers all summer...great for low-flying butterflies!
