I first saw this solid silver sport of Brunnera 'Jack Frost' on a trip to Holland and immediately fell in lust...that happens often in Holland, I understand. The round, heart-shaped leaves that compose the 1' wide deer resistant clump emerge silver with green veining, then change to solid pewtery-silver. The clumps are topped in spring with sprays of small, cobalt-blue flowers. Do not attempt to keep brunneras or vacationing northerners in areas with extended hot, humid summers. A moist, rich soil will grow the best plants.
