Once again, we are pleased to offer what we feel is the most exciting member of the genus! Unlike most bergenias, this deciduous species has performed extremely well for us in the South...part sun or shade. The large, fuzzy leaves, to 12" wide, feel like African violet foliage...or the face of a man with a worn out razor. The low rosette of wonderful foliage is topped in early spring with light pink flowers that sit atop the foliage...a great, bold, textural plant for the open woodland garden.
