Artemisia mexicana ‘Fredericksburg’ is our introduction of a Patrick McMillan collection from near Fredericksburg, Texas of this slowly enlarging wormwood. It is a much slower spreader than the typically maniacally spreading silver wormwood (Artemisia ludoviciana). Visitors to Clemson’s South Carolina Botanical Garden will see Artemisia ‘Fredericksburg’ used throughout the garden in medians and other hot, dry, low maintenance spots. We are thrilled to make this amazing 2’ tall x 3’ wide, weeping, silver-foliage selection more widely available.
