Aquilegia flabellata 'Little Blue Wonder' is our name for a columbine seed strain that's been masquerading in plant lists as Aquilegia jonesii x saximontana, which it certainly isn't. Regardless of the name, this is an outstanding rock-garden-sized columbine. The 6" tall x 8" wide evergreen rosettes explode in early April (NC), with upturned lavender blue flowers with white-tipped cups...very cute.
