Alstroemeria 'Summer Saint' is yet another splendid cut-flower bred princess lily that has overwintered for years unprotected in Zone 5b (western Michigan) trials. The tight clusters of 30" stalks are topped with cluster of mauvy pink flowers, highlighted by large white blotch, lightly flecked purple. For us, Alstroemeria 'Summer Saint' flowers heaviest in spring and fall, slowing a bit in the heat of summer. Unlike the wide-spreading Alstroemeria psittacina, these are clumpers.
