These seed-grown offerings are from seed collected in the Northern Mexican town of Bustamante, Nuevo Leon at 1,800' elevation. This population is the northernmost known natural stand of Agave victoriae-reginae, and also one of the driest locations it occurs. The plants from this population have longer than normal leaves, which are adorned with the white line marking typical of the species. The amount of white marking varies from seedling to seedling, but one thing that doesn't vary is the need to keep this in a very dry site. When mature, expect a symmetrical 1' tall x 20" wide rosette. This is a rare opportunity to grow Agave victoriae-reginae from a known origin.
